Texas Emergency Management Service (TXEMS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization providing advisory and consulting services to entities of all types, primarily in the sectors of emergency management, public safety, and public health.
It is the mission of TXEMS to ensure the overall good of the public while lessening the burden on all levels of government.
TXEMS operations encompass the four key phases of emergency management, in addition to other specialized services.
Mitigation, to include hazard vulnerability analyses and medical threat assessments.
Preparedness, to include emergency response planning and associated training and education.
Response, to include initial on-scene incident management and emergency medical services support.
Recovery, to include assisting government agencies and other non-governmental organizations.
